Scope note: Anestésico inhalante muy volátil utilizado principalmete en procedimientos quirúrgicos cortos donde se requiere una anestesia ligera con buena analgesia. Se utiliza también como solvente industrial. La exposición prolongada a elevadas concentraciones del vapor puede llevar a cardiotoxicidad y daño neurológico.
