Scope note: Trastorno que se caracteriza por áreas de despigmentación macular, comúnmente en las zonas de extensión de las extremidades, en la cara o en el cuello, y en los pliegues cutáneos. A menudo la edad de comienzo es en los adultos jóvenes y la condición tiende a progresar gradualmente con lesiones que se incrementan y extienden hasta que se alcanza un estado estable.
