Scope note: Cepa de VIRUS T-LINFOTRÓPICO DE LOS PRIMATES tipo 1 aislada de las células T4 maduras de pacientes con enfermedades linfoproliferativas-T malignas. Produce leucemia de células T del adulto (LEUCEMIA-LINFOMA AGUDA DE CÉLULA T ASOCIADA A HTLV-I), linfoma de células T (LINFOMA DE CÉLULAS T) y está implicada en la micosis fungoide, el SÍNDROME DE SÉZARY y la paraparesia tropical espástica (PARAPARESIA TROPICAL ESPÁSTICA).

Scope note: A strain of PRIMATE T-LYMPHOTROPIC VIRUS 1 isolated from mature T4 cells in patients with T-lymphoproliferation malignancies. It causes adult T-cell leukemia (LEUKEMIA-LYMPHOMA, T-CELL, ACUTE, HTLV-I-ASSOCIATED), T-cell lymphoma (LYMPHOMA, T-CELL), and is involved in mycosis fungoides, SEZARY SYNDROME and tropical spastic paraparesis (PARAPARESIS, TROPICAL SPASTIC).
Annotation: infection = HTLV-I INFECTIONS or its specifics; t-cell lymphoma caused by this virus = LYMPHOMA, T-CELL + HTLV-I INFECTIONS
