Están dispuestos en ángulo recto cada uno con respecto al otro y están situados en posición posterosuperior al vestíbulo del laberinto óseo (LABERINTO VESTIBULAR). Los canales semicirculares tienen cinco aberturas al vestíbulo, una de éstas compartida por los canales anterior y posterior. Dentro de estos canales están los CONDUCTOS SEMICIRCULARES.
