Scope note: Tumores de la coroides; los tumores intraoculares más frecuentes son los melanomas de la coroides. Generalmente ocurren después de la pubertad y su incidencia aumenta a medida que avanza la edad. La mayoría de los melanomas de la úvea se desarrollan a partir de tumores melánicos benignos (nevos).
