En condiciones de estrés físico o ESTRÉS FISIOLÓGICO puede causar MASTITIS en las ovejas y FIEBRE DEL EMBARQUE o NEUMONÍA ENZOÓTICA DE LOS BECERROS en el ganado vacuno. Su primera denominación era Pasteurella haemolytica.
