Scope note: Capa más interna de la coroides, también denominada lámina basal coroidea, localizada junto al EPITELIO PIGMENTARIO DE LA RETINA (EPR) del OJO. Se trata de una membrana constituida por las membranas basales del ENDOTELIO coriocapilar y del EPR. Al igual que el EPR, esta membrana termina en el NERVIO ÓPTICO.

Scope note: The inner layer of CHOROID, also called the lamina basalis choroideae, located adjacent to the RETINAL PIGMENT EPITHELIUM; (RPE) of the EYE. It is a membrane composed of the basement membranes of the choriocapillaris ENDOTHELIUM and that of the RPE. The membrane stops at the OPTIC NERVE, as does the RPE.
