Scope note: Transferencia de componentes sanguíneos tales como eritrocitos, leucocitos, plaquetas, y plasma desde el donante hasta el receptor o nuevamente al donante. Este proceso difiere de los procedimientos realizados en la PLASMAFÉRESIS y tipos de CITAFÉRESIS (PLAQUETAFÉRESIS y LEUCAFÉRESIS) donde, después de la extracción del plasma o de los componentes celulares específicos, el resto se transfunde nuevamente al donante.
