Scope note: Tejido blando formado principalmente por el diafragma pelviano, el cual comprende los dos músculos elevadores del ano y los dos músculos coccígeos. El diafragma pelviano limita por debajo la apertura de la pelvis menor y separa la cavidad pélvica del PERINÉ. Se extiende entre el PUBIS por delante y el CÓCCIX posteriormente.
