Scope note: Mesotelioma peritoneal que afecta principalmente a mujeres jóvenes y produce quistes de tamaño y número variable recubiertos por una sola capa de células mesoteliales benignas. La enfermedad sigue un curso benigno y es compatible con una esperanza de vida normal, requiriendo en ocasiones la escisión o decompresión para aliviar el dolor u otros síntomas.
