Scope note: Conducta en la que se realiza un acto persistente y repetidamente sin aportación de recompensa o placer. Generalmente se trata de un acto poco importante, con una conducta circunscrita, casi ritual, que aun no genera alteraciones patológicas. Como ejemplos de conductas compulsivas tenemos la costumbre de girar constantemente un mechón de pelo, la comprobación constante de algo, no querer el cambio en monedas, la alineación de cuadros ladeados, etc.
