Scope note: Muerte de la pulpa dental con o sin invasión bacteriana. Cuando la necrosis es debida a isquemia con infección bacteriana sobreañadida, se denomina gangrena de la pulpa. Si la necrosis no tiene origen bacteriano se denomina momificación.
