Scope note: Análogos de ADN que contienen enlaces estructurales de amidas neutras en el esqueleto y que están compuestos por unidades de aminoetilglicina en lugar de por los enlaces fosfodiéster usuales de grupos de desoxirribosa. Los ácidos nucleicos de los péptidos tienen una elevada estabilidad biológica y mayor afinidad por las secuencias de ADN o ARN complementarias que los oligómeros de ADN análogos.
