Scope note: Afección con formas congénitas y adquiridas que produce úlceras recurrentes en los dedos de las manos y pies. La forma congénita es hereditaria, autosómica dominante; la forma adquirida se encuentra entre los trabajadores que manipulan CLORURO DE VINILO. Cuando la acroosteólisis se acompaña de OSTEOPOROSIS generalizada y deformaciones del cráneo constituye el SÍNDROME DE HAJDU-CHENEY.
