Scope note: Dispositivo de precisión utilizado para adaptar una dentadura parcial fija o desmontable a la corona de un diente pilar o de una restauración. Un tipo es el ajuste intracoronal y el otro tipo es el ajuste extracoronal. Consta de una porción hembra dentro de la porción coronal de la corona de un pilar y de una porción macho fija a la propia dentadura.
