Scope note: Para ser acreditado, un programa debe cumplir con ciertas normas generales establecidas, de las cuales se desprenden una serie de criterios que es necesario aplicar para garantizar que un programa ofrezca la mejor formación en su área. Entre otros indicadores, el programa debe mostrar estadísticas positivas de ingreso, egreso y graduación de estudiantes, debe contar con suficientes profesores para la dirección de tesis en el área respectiva, así como con profesores colaboradores.
