Esta vía está vinculada a compartimentos unidos a la membrana a través de los cuales las proteínas sintetizadas sufren MODIFICACIONES POST-TRADUCCIONALES, y son empaquetadas, almacenadas o trasportadas a la MEMBRANA PLASMÁTICA para su secreción.
