Scope note: Enfermedad infrecuente de naturaleza inflamatoria y carácter benigno que se da en mujeres premenopáusicas poco después de un embarazo reciente. Se desconoce su origen pero se toma erróneamnete con frecuencia por una enfermedad maligna y en ocasiones se asocia con LACTANCIA MATERNA y empleo de ANTICONCEPTIVOS ORALES.
