Scope note: Subtipo de proteína cinasa dependiente de GMP cíclico que se expresa en el MÚSCULO LISO e interviene en la regulación de la contracción del mismo. Como consecuencia del empalme alternativo de su ARNm, existen dos isoformas de la proteína cinasa tipo I, la PKGI alfa y la PKGI beta.
