Se caracteriza por la existencia de CÉLULAS GIGANTES similares a los OSTEOCLASTOS, CÉLULAS ESPUMOSAS, MACRÓFAGOS pigmentados cargados de HEMOSIDERINA e infiltrado inflamatorio. Se clasifican como tenosinovitis difusas o localizadas.
