Se expresa principalmente en las neuronas del cerebro y el BULBO OLFATORIO. Durante el desarrollo embrionario se expresa en el SISTEMA NERVIOSO PERIFÉRICO. Se localiza en los CONOS DE CRECIMIENTO y puede inhibir la extensión de las neuritas tras la LESIÓN MEDULAR.
