Scope note: Reacción rara pero grave, relacionada con las transfusiones, en la que se produce una acumulación de líquidos en los pulmones sin relación con un aporte de volumen ni con una velocidad de perfusión excesivamente elevados (SOBRECARGA CIRCULATORIA ASOCIADA A LA TRANSFUSIÓN). Entre los signos de las lesiones pulmonares agudas postransfusionales se incluyen: secreciones pulmonares, hipotensión, fiebre, DISNEA, TAQUIPNEA, TAQUICARDIA y CIANOSIS.
