Scope note: Término general que describe un grupo de trastornos oculares raros que afectan a los conos de la RETINA. La distrofia de conos puede causar diversos síntomas tales como disminución de la claridad o de la agudeza visuales al mirar hacia delante (visión central), disminución de la capacidad para ver los colores y aumento de la sensibilidad a la luz (FOTOFOBIA).
