Scope note: Enzima que hidroliza enlaces ramificados 1,6-alfa-glucosídicos del glucógeno, la amilopectina y sus dextrinas límite beta. Se diferencia de la pululanasa (EC 3.2.1.41) por su incapacidad de atacar el pululano y por su escasa acción sobre las dextrinas límite alfa. Se distingue de la amilopectina 6-glucanohidrolasa (EC 3.2.1.69) por su acción sobre el glucógeno. Junto con EC 3.2.1.69 produce la actividad denominada 'enzima desramificadora'. EC 3.2.1.68.
