Scope note: Recesos de la pelvis renal la cual se divide en dos cálices renales grandes y anchos en forma de copa, cada cáliz principal se subdivide en 7 a 14 cálices menores. La orina se vierte en uno de los cálices menores desde los túbulos colectores, luego pasa a través de los cálices principales, la pelvis renal, el uréter y entra en la vejiga urinaria.
