Scope note: Anomalías congénitas en las que el CORAZÓN se encuentra en posición normal (levocardia) en el lado izquierdo de la cavidad torácica pero algunas o todas las vísceras del TÓRAX o ABDOMEN se hallan transpuestas lateralmente (SITUS INVERSUS). También se la conoce como situs inversus con levocardia, o levocardia aislada. Este afección se asocia con frecuencia con defectos cardiacos graves y anomalías esplénicas tales como asplenia o poliesplenia.
