Nota de alcance: Erupción ampollosoa pruriginosa y polimorfa que se produce en el embarazo o en el puerperio y que recurre en embarazos sucesivos.Enfermedad bullosa de la PIEL, autoinmune y con picor, que se produce durante los dos últimos trimestres del EMBARAZO y el PUERPERIO. También afecta a mujeres no embarazadas con tejidos procedentes de la PLACENTA, como el CORIOCARCINOMA o la MOLA HIDATIFORME. Presenta semejanza antigénica y clínica con el PENFIGOIDE AMPOLLOSO. Esta enfermedad no incluye al herpes virus (nombre antiguo, herpes gestationis).

Nota de alcance: An itching, autoimmune, bullous SKIN disease that occurs during the last two trimesters of PREGNANCY and PUERPERIUM. It also affects non-pregnant females with tissue of PLACENTA origin, such as CHORIOCARCINOMA; or HYDATIDIFORM MOLE. It exhibits antigenic and clinical similarity to bullous pemphigoid (PEMPHIGOID, BULLOUS). This disease does not involve herpes viruses (old name, herpes gestationis).
