Note d'application: Proteínas celulares de unión al ADN codificadas por los genes c-jun (GENES JUN). Participan en el control transcripcional relacionado con el crecimiento. Parece que tienen tres funciones diferentes: dimerización (con c-fos), unión al ADN, y activación transcriptional. Puede producirse la transformación oncogénica por la expresión constitutiva de c-jun.

Note d'application: Cellular DNA-binding proteins encoded by the c-jun genes (GENES, JUN). They are involved in growth-related transcriptional control. There appear to be three distinct functions: dimerization (with c-fos), DNA-binding, and transcriptional activation. Oncogenic transformation can take place by constitutive expression of c-jun.
