Scope note: Enzima que cataliza la conversión de ATP en una serie de oligoadenilatos ligados en 2'-5' y pirofosfato en presencia de ARN de doble cadena. Estos oligonucleótidos activan una endorribonucleasa (RNasa L) que escinde el ARN de cadena simple. Los interferones pueden actuar como inductores de estas reacciones.
