Scope note: Son los más frecuentes quistes odontogénicos foliculares. Aparecen en relación con un diente con erupción parcial o que no ha brotado con al menos la corona del diente al que está unido el quiste protruyendo en la cavidad quística. Puede dar origen a un ameloblastoma y, en raras ocasiones, se maligniza.
