Scope note: Heterodímero de la superficie de la membrana, que estimula la adhesión de los leucocitos. La subunidad alfa está constituida por el antígeno CD11b (ANTÍGENOS CD11B) y la subunidad beta por el antígeno CD18 (ANTÍGENOS CD18). El antígeno, que es una integrina, funciona como receptor del complemento 3 y en las interacciones de adherencia célula-célula y célula-sustrato.
