Scope note: Técnica de pulverizar una muestra de tejido con un fino revestimiento de un metal pesado como el platino. La muestra se pulveriza desde un ángulo oblicuo, dando lugar a un depósito desigual del revestimiento. El grosor no uniforme crea un efecto de sombra y da una apariencia tridimensional a la muestra.
