Los géneros COLOBUS, Piliocolobus y Procolobus de la tribu Colobini y los géneros Nasalis (mono narigudo), Presbytis, Pygathrix, Rhinopithecus (mono de nariz chata), Semnopithecus (langur indio), Simias (langur de cola de cerdo) y Trachypithecus de la tribu Presbytini (colobinos asiáticos) pertenecen a esta subfamilia.

The genera COLOBUS, Piliocolobus and Procolobus under Tribe Colobini and Nasalis (proboscis monkey), Presbytis, Pygathrix, Rhinopithecus (snub-nosed monkey), Semnopithecus (Indian langurs), Simias (pig-tailed langur) and Trachypithecus under Tribe PRESBYTINI (Asian colobines) belong to this subfamily.
