Scope note: Especie de bacterias gramnegativas, aerobias, de forma bacilar, que se distinguen de otros miembros del género KINGELLA porque son beta hemolíticas. Se encuentran normalmente en las membranas mucosas de las vías respiratorias superiores del hombre, pero pueden producir artritis y endocarditis séptica (Bergey, Manual of Determinative Bacteriology, 9th ed).

Scope note: A species of gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped bacteria which is distinguished from other members of the genus KINGELLA by its beta hemolysis.
