Scope note: Adenocarcinoma caracterizado por la presencia de diversas combinaciones de células tumorales claras y en forma de tachuela. Se han descrito tres patrones predominantes: tubuloquístico, sólido y papilar. Estos tumores, que suelen localizarse en los órganos reproductores femeninos, se han observado con mayor frecuencia en mujeres jóvenes desde 1970 como resultado de la asociación con la exposición intrauterina al dietilestilbestrol.
