Scope note: Anomalía vascular infrecuente en la que existe una comunicación anormal entre la circulación venosa intra y extracraneal por el diploe. Se caracteriza frecuentemente por dilatación de las estructuras venosas de cuero cabelludo debido a un drenaje anormal desde los senos venosos intracraneales. El seno pericraneal puede ser congénito o causado por un traumatismo.

It is often characterized by dilated venous structures on the scalp due to abnormal drainage from the intracranial venous sinuses. Sinus pericranii can be congenital or traumatic in origin.
