Scope note: ScienTI es una red pública de fuentes de información y conocimiento que tiene por objetivo contribuir a la gestión de actividades científicas, tecnológicas e innovadoras. Esta red constituye un espacio público y de cooperación para todos aquellos interesados en los sistemas nacionales de ciencia, tecnología e innovación (ST & I) y las comunidades de países miembros que deseen interactuar. Las fuentes de información incluyen resúmenes (CVs), grupos de trabajo, instituciones y proyectos. Todas las fuentes están normalizadas y utilizan referencias internacionales en orden a posibilitar la interoperabilidad en Internet. La Red está diseñada para obtener una identificación actualizada de los recursos humanos, las instituciones y los proyectos de investigación especializados, así como valorar las políticas y capacidades nacionales en ST & I, y para promover programas de cooperación internacional. Esta Red es la expresión de la cooperación internacional entre organizaciones nacionales de ciencia y tecnología (ONCYTs), las organizaciones internacionales de ciencia y tecnología (OICYTs), grupos de sistemas para la investigación y el desarrollo de información y el conocimiento (GDIs), e instituciones de esponsorización (SIs).
