Scope note: Algoritmo de APRENDIZAJE AUTOMÁTICO SUPERVISADO que aprende a etiquetar objetos a partir de un conjunto de ejemplos didácticos. Entre otros ejemplos se encuentran aprender a reconocer la actividad fraudulenta de una tarjeta de crédito mediante el examen de cientos o miles de actividades de tarjetas de crédito fraudulentas o no fraudulentas, o aprender a realizar diagnósticos de enfermedades o pronósticos en base a la clasificación automática de perfiles de expresión genética de micromatrices extraídas de cientos o miles de muestras.
