Scope note: Construcción teórica usada en matemática aplicada para analizar ciertas situaciones en las que existen interacciones entre partes que pueden tener intereses similares, opuestos o mixtos. En un juego típico, los jugadores que toman decisiones, cada uno con sus propios intereses, tratan de sacar ventaja sobre los demás, mediante la anticipación de las decisiones de los otros; finalmente el juego se resuelve como consecuencia de las decisiones de los jugadores.
