Este compuesto es un radiofármaco que se utiliza en las pruebas de diagnóstico por imágenes de la corteza suprarrenal para evaluar a pacientes que presuntamente padecen síndrome de Cushing, hiperaldosteronismo, feocromocitoma o tienen restos suprarrenales tras una suprarrenalectomía total.
