Scope note: Fraccionamiento de una muestra vaporizada como consecuencia de la partición entre una fase gaseosa móvil y una fase estacionaria contenida en una columna. Los dos tipos son la cromatografía de gas-sólido, donde la fase fija es un sólido, y la cromatografía de gas-líquido, en que la fase estacionaria es un líquido no volátil contenido en una matriz sólida inerte.

Scope note: Fractionation of a vaporized sample as a consequence of partition between a mobile gaseous phase and a stationary phase held in a column. Two types are gas-solid chromatography, where the fixed phase is a solid, and gas-liquid, in which the stationary phase is a nonvolatile liquid supported on an inert solid matrix.
