En el cerebro se expresa fuertemente en la parte anterior del tectum mesencefálico, el bulbo raquídeo, el ROMBENCÉFALO y el ÓRGANO SUBCOMISURAL. Existen varias isoformas de la proteína debidas a corte y empalme alternativo múltiple del ARNm del EphA7.
