Scope note: Guanosina 5'-trifosfato 2'(3')-difosfato. Nucleótido de guanina que contiene cinco grupos fosfato. Tres de ellos están esterificados en la fracción del azúcar en la posición 5' y los otros dos en la posición 2' o 3'. Este nucleótido actúa de mensajero para detener la síntesis de ARN ribosómico cuando no hay disponibles aminoácidos para la síntesis de proteínas.
