Scope note: Tres regiones (CDR1, CDR2 y CDR3) de secuencia de aminoácidos en la REGIÓN VARIABLE DE LAS INMUNOGLOBULINAS que son muy divergentes. En conjunto, las CDRs de las cadenas ligeras y pesadas de las inmunoglobulinas forman una superficie que es complementaria al antígeno. Estas regiones se hallan también presentes en otros miembros de la superfamilia de las inmunoglobulinas, por ejemplo, receptores de las células T (RECEPTORES DE ANTÍGENOS DE CÉLULAS T).
