Entry term(s) dominio Kazal
dominios Kazal
motivo Kazal

Scope note: Highly conserved protein domains characteristic of SERINE PROTEASE INHIBITORS, KAZAL TYPE. They generally occur as tandem repeats, with each domain consisting of approximately 60 amino acids that form a large extended amino acid chain, two short ALPHA-HELICES, and a three-stranded anti-parallel BETA-SHEET. Kazal-like domains also occur in the extracellular portions of AGRIN.
