Scope note: Glicoproteínas de la membrana que se encuentran en grandes concentraciones sobre las células que utilizan hierro. Dichas glicoproteínas se unen de forma específica a la transferrina que transporta hierro, sufren endocitosis con su ligando y luego retornan a la superficie celular donde la transferrina se libera sin el hierro.
