Scope note: Proteína calciodependiente formadora de poros que se sintetiza en los LINFOCITOS citolíticos y se almacena en gránulos secretorios. Al producirse la reacción inmunológica entre un linfocito citolítico y una célula diana, la perforina es liberada en la membrana plasmática y polimeriza en los túbulos transmembrana (formando poros), lo que determina la muerte de la célula diana.
