Scope note: Dominios de interacción de proteínas de unos 70-90 residuos aminoacídicos, que reciben su nombre de una estructura común que se encuentra en las proteínas PSD-95, Discs Large y Zona Occludens 1. Los dominios PDZ intervienen en el reclutamiento y la interacción de proteínas y ayudan a formar armazones proteicos y redes de señalización. Esto se consigue mediante una unión específica de secuencias entre un dominio PDZ y una proteína y un motivo PDZ y otra proteína.
