Scope note: En el marco de la telemedicina que recurre a la utilización de las telecomunicaciones para intercambiar imágenes estáticas o dinámicas de exámenes patológicos, imágenes radiológicas, entre otros medios complementarios de diagnóstico y terapéuticos (MCDT's), para discusión de casos y resolución de diagnósticos (INE, 2009). En el marco de este cuestionario se incluye en esta categoría el concepto de Telerradiología y Telepatología así como los MCDT's en el área de la cardiología (denominado a veces como telecardiología), en el área de la dermatología (teledermatología) entre otras especialidades.
