Note d'application: Afección de los recién nacidos causada por inmunidad de la madre a los ALOANTÍGENOS PLAQUETARIOS de las plaquetas fetales. Las PLAQUETAS, recubiertas con ANTICUERPOS maternos, son destruidas y eliminadas por el SISTEMA FAGOCÍTICO MONONUCLEAR fetal. Los lactantes afectados pueden tener HEMORRAGIAS INTRACRANEALES.

Note d'application: A condition in newborns caused by immunity of the mother to PLATELET ALLOANTIGENS on the fetal platelets. The PLATELETS, coated with maternal ANTIBODIES, are destroyed and removed by the fetal MONONUCLEAR PHAGOCYTE SYSTEM. Affected infants may have INTRACRANIAL HEMORRHAGES.
